The Callers and Cuers were so knowledgeable and helpful, the atmosphere was so vibrant and energetic,
and most of all the dancing was absolutely mesmerizing.

When & where will the festival be held?
The 2025 Colorado State Square Dance Festival will be held at the Colorado Mesa University Center, in Grand Junction, CO. Located on 12th ST. between North Ave. and Elm ST.  The weekend event is June 13-14 2025.  Register as early as you can to help us finance and plan the best festival experience for everyone.

What will be at the door Registration Cost?
The at Door Registration will be increased to
$65 for each adult for the Weekend and $50 for one day either Friday night or Saturday
$30 for each CMU Alumni for the Weekend and $25 for one day either Friday night or Saturday
$30 for each Youth or CMU Alumni for the Weekend and $25 for one day either Friday night or Saturday

Can I withdraw from the festival?
Yes.  You can withdraw from the festival anytime.  After May 31st your withdrawal request will be reviewed and approve by the festival chairman.  If you registered with a Credit/Debit card, your refund will be reduced by any credit card fees.  We encourage you to withdraw if you are not feeling well.  We do want to keep everyone at the festival safe.  A $5.00 fee will be deducted to cover costs of processing your refund.
Can I attend the festival for a single night or a single day?
Yes, Friday or Saturday only are $35 if you pre Resister and $40 at the door.
What will we be dancing on?
Colorado Mesa Universaty has a beutiful wood dance floor.  Ballrooms are located on the second floor
Will there be a Trail-End Dance?
A trail-end dance is being planned for 7:00 PM Thursday evening.  The trail-end dance will feature Bear Miller, Roger Schappell, Jeff Palmer and Pat McBride calling and Mitchell Thompson Cueing.
Are there T-Shirts​ available
T-shirts are available for $25 each which includes shipping.  They will also be available at the Festival(s).  To order please click on shirt orders at the bottom of this page.
What is the dance schedule?
Detailed planning of the festival events is ongoing.  Early registrations help us plan the best festival for everyone.  We will post the most up to date information on this website.
Are Hotels and RV camping available nearby?
Yes there is a Hotel on Campus and several that are in the area.  Some but not all are offering a group rate.  RV for Self-contained units are not available on Campus at this time.  RV parks available nearby.  map to nearby RV parks

The dorms will have Bunk Beds, the Campus will provide bed linen only.  Dorm suites will share a bathroom.  Dorms are available for Single or Double occupants.  Not 2 rooms share 1 Bathroom so if there is a couple that you want to share Bathroom with indicate who on registration form.

What is being planned for solos attending the festival?
The festival is not planning any special events for solo dancers.  Please intoduce yourself to other dancers wearing solo ribbons.
What seminars are being planned?
We will have several seminars which at this time has not been established
When & Where is the Showcase of Ideas?
The Showcase of Ideas and a History Corner will be available in the tba room during the festival.
